PAUL CHOWDHRY

This revolutionary underground comedian, “a scalpel-sharp story teller” (Evening Standard) was voted The Lafta funniest stand-up award winner of 2013,  has twice sold out the Indig02 and is regularly seen on TV as host of Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week.  He headlined BBC1’s Live at the Apollo, and has also starred in 8 Out Of 10 Cats, C4’s Comedy World Cup, Celebrity Family Fortunes and a cameo guest appearance in Made In Chelsea.  To date he has had well over 4 million YouTube hits online.    Chowdhry revels in creating an uncomfortable tension on stage: the biggest laughs tend to come as a release, from audiences unsure about whether they should be laughing , but the release when it comes is enormous - Chowdhry is the real deal: a mainstream act who fills big venues and gets gigs on TV.

"Witty, challenging turn stylishly entertains the crowd’ (The Times)

‘Brutally honest, internationally acclaimed comedian ... has a bite every bit as bad as his bark’ (Time Out)

“Revives distant memories of Richard Pryor at his relentless best” (The Times)

KATE LUCAS

Recently crowned Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year for 2014,  Kate is "Delightfully crude, gleefully nasty and a very worthy winner”  (Chortle).

Her unique act combines catchy, original melodies with sophisticated lyrics and a fresh delivery style to present her playfully bitter musings on life.  Likened to a ‘musical Sarah Millican’ her act does not shy away from telling it like she sees it, and her fans include Ed Byrne, Jo Brand, Omid Djalili and Harry Hill.

"The crowd lapped up her deliciously dark lyrics, and she had to leave pauses to allow for not just laughs but gasps and whispers of 'did she really say that?'" -  (Chortle)

“Stole the whole evening with her musical comedy...had some of the crowd at the back of the room crying with tears”  (Fringe Report)
